About us
Taba Chemie Mfg. Co. Ltd. was founded in 1965 in
Tehran. Taba is a well established family-owned company, which
has always believed in good quality service at a reasonable
price. Taba Chemie began by producing decorative paints and
wood lacquers, later diversifying into traffic paints, wood
stains, can coatings, marine paints, screen printing, automotive
and anti-corrosion coatings. While we continue to produce some
of these products, as times have changed, we have stopped
producing paints that have fallen out of demand.
Today we are involved in the production of
automotive OEM and refinish coatings, can, powder and
anti-corrosive coatings, and wood finishes.
Over the years we have worked under licence with
many major-name full coating manufacturers, such as
International Paint and PPG.
Our logo
Our logo, which shows two lions facing each
other, represents the strength and power of the ancient Persian
Empire.
Quality control
Taba Chemie Mfg. Co. Ltd. assures its customers
high quality products. We began to establish the quality
management system ISO 9001 at our premises in 1999 and were
certified by RW TÜV. This quality management system is regularly
updated.
In order to optimize quality for
automotive-related industries, Taba Chemie established ISO/TS
16949 and was certified by RW TÜV as conforming to the quality
management system specified by ISO/TS 16949.
Distribution
In Tehran, in addition to the sales office at our
premises, we have several wholesale distributors part-owned by
Taba Chemie. They work with sub-distributors or sell directly to
major customers. Taba is currently extending its distribution
system in all regions.
Our goals
We aim to increase exports to the countries of
Central Asia and the Middle East, which we believe offer
manifold opportunities for us to present our products and our
capabilities. In the domestic market we are resisting the recent
trend to sell products at any price. We appreciate healthy
competition and are dedicated to supplying good quality products
at a reasonable price.
Environmental responsibility
Everyone in the world should try to do his or her
utmost to preserve the environment. We actively promote
water-borne paints and high solids in Iran, and in each segment
in which we are active we will introduce waterborne products.
For many years we have been producing powder coatings which are
known to be environmentally friendly through their elimination
of solvents and absence of overspray.
